This year's conference is being organized through Zoom video conferencing technology. We did ask you to record your video ahead of time in order to minimize technical issues. Below are steps to present your paper via Zoom:

    1. Prepare ahead and ensure that your pre-recorded video is available on the system/computer you will be using to log into the conference

    2. When it is your turn to present, the Panel Chair will announce and invite you to present.

The following tips were adapted from the Southwest Popular/American Culture Association.

What duties are expected of me as a panel chair?

As a panel chair, you have three primary duties:
    1. introducing the presenters in a session,
    2. keeping time during the session, and
    3. facilitating the question (Q) and answer (A) at the end of the session.
